EDIT 6: If you want to prove me wrong about otakus and weeaboos link me sites of their language origins and they have to be FORMAL. That means no Google, Wikipedia(unless they finally get more keen on online thingies), OhInternet, Encyclopedia Dramatica, or Urban Dictionary. If you're right then you should be able to find it.
EDIT 5: All these edits I have to make! ^__^; To those who think this is some joke...it's not. You are a sick person if you have to lie about who you really are.
EDIT 4: Arigato, haters. You helped me reach a million views! <3
EDIT 3: Some person posted me here: [link]
Bitch clearly doesn't know that haters make me famous.
EDIT 2: More than 100 favourites? OMFG! >///< Arigato! Weeaboos are beating haters! Yes! ^__^
EDIT: It's clear that there are haters here. You all are just jealous because I'm prettier than you, I'm more popular than you, and because I'm just better.
This goes out to all those bitchy haters that use "weeaboo" as an insult. There's nothing wrong with being an otaku! >:3
Here's the template. [link]
Anyways, experimenting with stamps as well as eating some nummy pocky.
Speaking of otkus, I not feel like watching Lucky Star...
"Otaku: a mildly derogatory slang used in Japan and other Asian cultures to describe anyone who has a devotion to a specific subject or hobby (not necessarily anime) to the point of never leaving home.
Weeaboos: an internet slang used in English-speaking regions to describe a Gaijin (foreigner in Japanese) displaying a heavy bias towards everything from Japan or virtually exiling oneself from the indigenous culture (also known as “outside”) in pursuit of the “superlative.”" - KnowYourMeme
KnowYourMeme is an extremely trustworthy site. As you see, both these terms are negative.
weeaboo = cancer
cancer = otaku
i'll just call you all cancer then
It actually is, it's a derogatory term for a hermit.
weeaboo = immature rage drama peoples who can't act older than ten
otaku = anime fan who's calm about things
Though in Japan 'otaku' means obsessed, but in the USA and other Western countries it means anime fan.
I actually don't mind Weeaboos as long as they don't bother me or my friends. I have read some Weeaboo stories on Tumblr and to tell the truth, they horrified me. However, I am sure that you are not like the other Weeaboos, correct? You seem like a really nice person! c:
Some Weeaboos I met were very nice and controlled. I'm not a huge fan of anime myself but I respect the opinions and lifestyles of others.
"Otaku" is actually a japanese term that roughly translates to "Your House" as to saying that a person stays in the house 24/7 with little to none social encounters so basically you should be offended and embarrassed if you are called this
Now "Weeaboo" is a Internet term to identify the annoying bigots in I guess 2003?? in america who do the same thing the person who made this stamp is doing, "Im kawaii desu! Im having a sugoi time here!" < thats annoying because if you do that then is show you have no respect for the language well to me it is
Japanese people would laugh at america if they found out about the weeaboo thing though
TL;DR - Otaku is a insult, Weeaboo is a insult. they should never be encouraged or taken pride in. Theres actually alot of other different names you could call your self if you like anime
Its like a classic nerd in America *and not the fashion nerds LOL -I mean like the pointdexters and math club ones;
Sorry for the trouble
I really hope my message didn't upset you...
